- Saves us time and energy
- helps control pests and weeds
- Feeds the soil, so no need for fertilizer
- Creates homes for the surrounding plants to send their roots
Mulch:
Living mulch is a dual-purpose mulch
Sweet Potato Vines, Radishes, African Potato Mint, Pumpkin Vines, and similar growing plants all smother out the weeds around our trees and other plants while providing us with food and benefiting these plants just like dead mulch would.
